Charu Asopa Shuts The Rumours Of PATCH UP With Rajeev Sen; Actress Says, ‘Koi Chamtkaar Agar Ho Jaata Hai Toh Pata Nahi’
Charu Asopa, in a recent interview, dismissed the rumors about reconciliation with Rajeev Sen and clarified about wearing ‘sindoor’
Amid the divorce of Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, new twists and turns are coming up. Sen praised wife Charu for taking good care of the daughter Ziana as she was not keeping well. Even Sushmita Sen's brother shared a selfie with Charu on social media amidst this chaos and fans thought they might reconcile. While Asopa was trolled as she had shared a picture with her daughter wearing a saree and ‘sindoor’.
Now, the ‘Baalveer’ actress has finally reacted to Rajeev sharing pictures and wearing sindoor in the recent interview with ETimes.
Speaking about Rajeev sharing a selfie with her, she said that it is an old picture and had no clue about the same, as they both have blocked each other on Instagram. She was quoted saying, “I have no idea why he posted the picture because a couple of days ago, I sent him a draft for divorce by mutual consent. Rajeev, however, wanted to incorporate some changes in it and told us that he was in discussion with his lawyer. We are still waiting for his lawyer to revert. My friends told me that he spoke about me even in his vlog.”
Interestingly, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress even spoke about people trolling her for wearing sindoor. She quipped, “I am still married and not divorced yet. Divorce hua nahi hain, shaadi shuda hoon toh sindoor kyu nahi lagaaungi, especially when I am going to a temple.”
Meanwhile, when she was asked if there was any chance of any reconciliation. She replied to it by saying that there are no possibilities from her end.
She was quoted saying, “Koi chamtkaar agar ho jaata hai toh pata nahi toh abhi mujhe aise koi chances nahi lag rahe. I have made up my mind. It’s really funny that after casting aspersions on me and accusing me of hiding my first marriage, something like this is happening. The accusation of me hiding my marriage from him is a lie. I met him at a restaurant near his gym in Bandra to inform him about my first marriage. Today he is claiming that I kept it a secret from him. He also accused me of using the victim card. Itna sab hone ke baad yeh sab cheezein faaltu lag rahi hain.”
For the unversed, Rajeev and Charu got married in 2019 and were blessed with their first child, daughter Ziana in November 2021. Earlier this month, the duo announced their separation via a post on social media. Rajeev has accused the actress of playing a victim card.
